Reimagining 639 Warren Street as an affordable, mixed-use community asset
Project Overview:
Madison Park Development Corporation (MPDC) acquired 639 Warren Street in June 2023 with the goal of working with the community to envision a development project that matches the needs and desires of Grove Hall residents, current and future.
Together we will create affordable homeownership and rental opportunities, enhance the commercial business district, and provide lasting local, cultural, and community benefits.
Recent Updates:
The proposed project consists of an all-affordable, mixed-use building featuring 63 residential units (54 rental, 9 homeownership) available to a range of incomes, along with approx. 2000 sf of ground-floor retail space across two units. We’re excited to bring affordable housing for 63 new households while adding opportunities for local businesses, extending the Grove Hall commercial corridor along Warren Street.
In September, MPDC submitted the Project Notification Form (PNF) to the Boston Planning Department, formally kicking off the Article 80 public review process. We’re looking for your feedback!
